A Love of the Outdoors

I don't think a sporting or wildlife artist could accurately portray his subject without having been "in the wild."  I'm fortunate to have been a fisherman and bird hunter for almost 50 years.  When you  see one of my works, I hope it's evident that I've "been there."

An Appreciation of the Masters

For many years, I have admired the works of the sporting art "Masters."  The works of men like John Cowan, David Drinkard, Ken Carlson, and Wade Butler inspired me to begin painting  after I retired  several years ago.  I can only aspire to their greatness.
