Other Information

When I started painting after I retired from the school business in 2008, I said I wanted to paint, but I didn't want it to turn into a JOB.  So, I usually only paint 14-20 hours a week.  As a result, you may have to wait a little longer for a commissioned work, or for me to order a print that you want.  I do have many prints on hand, however.  Below are some of the other services I offer. 

Framing – I can frame any paper print or print on canvas if you'd like.  Generally, my framing costs run between $350 and $550, depending upon the size of the print and the cost of the frame itself.  If you find a print you like, text or email me about framing options.  The shipping will be a little higher, but I can beat most prices.

Prints on Canvas – Giclee' prints on canvas are almost impossible to tell from an original painting.  I can order any of the the paintings on this website as a print on canvas, including the Bevo print.  I always recommend framing them with a linen liner that fills the same purpose of a mat on a paper print.  Text or email me about options for prints on canvas.  They generally run $150 - $350 more than the paper, depending upon the size, but I guarantee that people will say, "Is that an original?"

Commissioned Works – I usually have a commission project or two on tap.  I don't accept all of the requests I get, but sometimes big things come from someone's request.  For instance, the Bevo painting was a commission.  Text or email me if you are interested in a commissioned painting of your subject.  They usually cost between $2,500 and $8,000, depending upon the size, whether I have to travel to take resource photos in the field/water and what kinds of pictures of your subject you may have available.  The painting of the Boykin Spaniel to the right of this section was a commission painted from photos taken by the owner.
